Zeitz MOCAA Pavilion (not to be confused with the Zeitz MOCAA Museum of Contemporary Art Africa) presents changing exhibitions and educational programmes throughout the year in three galleries and two new media galleries. Zeitz MOCAA Pavilion is situated at the V&A Waterfront near the Bascule Bridge near the Cape Grace. Admission is free. The surrounds of the Zeitz MOCAA Pavilion are filled with new art in public places and include sculptures by Wim Botha, Kudzanai Chiurai, Michele Mathison, and Mohau Modisakeng. Zeitz MOCAA is a new public not-for-profit cultural institution that focuses on collecting, preserving, researching, and exhibiting cutting-edge contemporary art from Africa. It is the first major museum in Africa dedicated to contemporary art.
