The Two Oceans Aquarium (open 365 days a year) provides a fascinating and close-up glimpse below the surface of the oceans that surround the South African coastline. Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town where the oceans come alive in magnificent colours and a variety of shapes and sizes. Visitors, both young and old, are introduced to the incredible range of fish and other amazing creatures that call these waters their home. Check when the animal feeding times are, visit the predator exhibit, the astonishing kelp forest and the penguin exhibit. From sharks, to jelly fish, eels, the Knysna seahorse, crabs and a dazzling array of Indian Ocean fish – these enormous tanks contain them all. Watch the incredible display from long underwater tunnels and through enormous viewing windows, and then watch the sea life under a microscope, or visit the Touch Pool to get up close and personal with creatures and plants from the deep. This all-weather venue is an ideal destination for families to enjoy, and young and old will have the opportunity to explore below the waterline and discover an intriguing world usually hidden from sight.
