KIDS FUN FARE FOR THE WINTER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

From foodie workshops at Makers Landing, searching for gem stones at Scratch Patch  and indoor roller-skating at Rollercade there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The Cape Wheel is offering kids under 17 years old a free ride when accompanied by an adult. Here’s where you can find the full round up.

THE FERMENTARY BY SEPIAL OPENS AT MAKERS LANDING

At The Fermentary, unique and distinct flavours are created by using the science of fermentation to age locally sourced ingredients. Expect to find various types of kimchi, sauerkraut, as well as learning to make some of their food. (Images by Wide Wing Shoots).

Also new in the space, are the Makers Landing Jazz Fridays on 14 and 21 July and 11 and 18 August presenting Kujenga, Vernon Castel, Leslie Kleinsmith and Guitar Cartel. (Image of Kujenga by Arron Nathan).
