FOOTFALL UPDATE

School holidays and month end are driving numbers upwards. We saw the best Friday, Tuesday and Wednesday so far under lockdown, as well as over 100k visitors in the shopping centre over the weekend.

 

REVISED TRADING HOURS IN VICTORIA WHARF AND V&A FOOD MARKET

Our trading hours will increase in line with our busiest trade days, Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Effective, Friday, 30 October trading will be 9am – 9pm, every Friday to Sunday in November. Monday to Thursdays shall remain 9am – 7pm. The V&A Food Market have confirmed that they will be trading Thursday to Sunday, 9am to 7pm from this week.

HEART OF FILLING THE BELLY UPDATE

On World Food Day (16 October) we invited our visitors to come and a buy a meal anywhere on our property, and we’ll then match that to those in need. A total of 11 040 meals were purchased on that day and in turn, we donated a total of 11 040 meals to; Helping Hands in Blue Downs, Some of us provide kitchen in Wesbank, Community Action Network (CAN)  in New Crossroads, Soul Kombuis in Wynberg and Grateful Givers in Ysterplaat.
