Neighbourhood News Update: 1 October 2021

V&A Waterfront welcomes bumper visitor numbers

We’re happy to report that this past long weekend saw more than 50k visitors across the property each day. This is a clear indication that coupled with increasing vaccination rates and the good weather, the general public is ready to start getting out and about again. With positive rates of vaccinations, increased international and local flights and the possibility of more of our international source markets opening for travel, we can look forward to a better festive season at year-end.

Makers Market returns this weekend

Haven’t tried the yummy goodness available at Makers Landing yet? What better way to explore the space than by popping by for the monthly pop-up market, hosted by various foodie entrepreneurs. Live music from some of Cape Town’s most talented performers is also on the menu, so you don’t want to miss out.
