This past week, we were proud to receive multiple awards at the Annual World Travel Awards, which honours excellence across the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors, as well as at the World Luxury Awards, recognizing outstanding achievements in luxury across various industries, including hotels, spas, restaurants, and lifestyle services. Cape Town Cruise Terminal, the city’s gateway for international cruise liners, has been named Africa’s Leading Cruise Port for 2024, marking its second consecutive win. This recognition highlights the terminal’s commitment to excellence in service and its vital role in enhancing the cruise experience for travellers. Cape Grace, a Fairmont Managed Hotel, known for its elegant decor, exceptional service, and stunning views of Table Mountain, has been recognized as Africa’s Leading Luxury Hotel 2024. Corporate teams of 10 will compete to create delicious sandwiches, that will be donated to support Ladles of Love’s early childhood development projects. Some of the fun activities which took place at last years Boatica event. / Photo Credits: Boatica Cape Town Special Feature: Canyon Cup Challenge Winner The inaugural Canyon Cup Challenge took place from October 19th to 20th. This double-handed race, which also served as the ORC Double-Handed National Championship, saw 35 yachts race from Cape Town to the edge of the continental shelf. Out of the 35 participants, the yacht “METRIC 4T” claimed victory. The winning crew will be presented with their trophy this Friday at 16h00 during Boatica. OTHER EVENTS AT THE WATERFRONT Cape Town Oriental Dance Festival 2024 The Cape Town Oriental Dance Festival is a lively celebration uniting woman from all backgrounds to showcase a variety of beautiful oriental dance styles.
