Southern Guild is the sole gallery representing locally made collectible design in Africa. It commissions South Africa’s leading designers to create their most groundbreaking work, setting new benchmarks of quality and originality for the design industry at large. The gallery holds regular exhibitions of contemporary furniture, lighting, ceramics, sculpture and jewellery that have redefined perceptions of African design and established the gallery as a relevant and ground-breaking player in the global design arena.
The gallery itself is a dynamic, curated space hosting exhibitions that change every two to three months. New shows are mounted alongside a regularly updated showroom of available works and a store selling our own collection of designer products.
