6 Oct 2022 SILO CONCERTS LINE-UP 2022/2023: 04 November 2022: Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra Founded in 1914, the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra in Cape Town is arguably the most versatile and active orchestra on the continent of Africa, contributing handsomely to Cape Town’s global status and appeal. 02 December 2022: Mandisi Dyantyis Mandisi Dyantyis is a South African trumpeter and vocalist, a popular face at many of our previous Silo Concerts. In his upcoming performance, you can expect to hear some of his older compositions from his Somandla album and he’ll also be debuting some brand-new material for the very first time. 06 January 2023: This Thing Called Swing – featuring Swing All Stars Big Band and Swing DJs For visitors that love to jump, jive, swing or hop, then this special edition Silo Concert is just for them, in this edition we’ll be hosting a night dedicated to Swing Dancing and Big Band Music. We’ll have Swing DJ’s, and a 20 piece Swing All Stars Big Band, led by Mike Campbell who will have our Silo District neighbourhood revisit the thirties and forties in song. 03 February 2023: Puesta Del Sol – featuring Corazon 10 Piece Salsa Band and Salsa DJs This will be a dance floor set up for audiences to dance to sultry sounds from the salsa DJs, as well as Corazon, Cape Town’s hottest 10-piece Salsa band who will be on stage for the evening. 03 March 2023: Andrew Young & Don Vino Saxophonists Andrew Young & Don Vino, return to our Silo stage to perform some crowd favourites including jazz sounds ranging from the early 70’s to current hits. 07 April 2023: Judith Sephuma To close off the Silo Concert season, we’ll have the multi-award-winning songstress, Judith Sephuma serenading us with her soft angelic voice with a showcase of brand news songs and some old favourites that the crowd can sing along to. Entry to the event is free to the public.
