4 Dec 2020 Black Friday drives best footfall numbers since start of lockdown As expected, the Black Friday weekend combined with it being a month-end weekend drove a particularly strong weekend at the Waterfront with record lockdown numbers, the best we’ve had since the start of the lockdown. The seven day week-on-week visitor numbers climbed 23% on the previous seven days. Exciting offerings ready to welcome visitors this festive season Makers Landing, our new food space and is home to South African food and flavours will open its doors to the public next week Thursday 10 December. The finishing touches to our very own Starbucks are taking place for an opening by mid-December. Located inside the Victoria Wharf shopping center, it will offer a fresh coffee experience in a brand-new space. We can’t wait! This week saw the opening of African Luxury Brands and Merchants on Long, welcome to the V&A Waterfront neighbourhood! Something for the kids to look forward to is our Summer Palace which will open this weekend at the Centre Court inside the Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre.
