The V&A Waterfront Drive-In Experience powered by Ster-Kinekor, opens on the 27th of November and can be found outside the Table Bay Hotel. For more information click here. Latest visitor numbers indicate week on week growth Visitor numbers up until 15 November saw an upward movement of more than 225 000 people visiting the neighbourhood, – 6.3% up from the week before. V&A Waterfront named BASA and SACSC winner Over the past week, the V&A Waterfront received a number of awards from Business and Arts South Africa (BASA) and South African Council of Shopping Centres (SACSC). The annual BASA awards celebrate the capability that comes from collaboration between the right partners and showcase the ways in which those partnerships are able to effect meaningful social change. We were the winners of the Innovation Award for our Joy from Africa to the World festive season campaign. The award celebrates amongst others, a partnership which served all partners’ purposes effectively. You can watch the award announcement here. The annual SACSC Footprint Marketing Awards recognises exceptional shopping centre marketing, innovation and creative achievements, together with economic success, within the South African property industry. The V&A Waterfront won a bronze for Community Relations (as part of the Joy from Africa to the World festive season campaign) and a Silver for Digital Marketing for our Good Night Fridays live streamed concerts.
