Neighbourhood News Update: 11 June 2021

V&A Waterfront celebrates World Oceans Day

The theme for this years’ World Oceans Day (8 June) was The Ocean: Life and Livelihoods; and explores the impact of human activity on our oceans. And with the V&A Waterfront being a place of connecting visitors to the sea, we are keenly aware of our role and responsibility in protecting the ocean around us, while also unlocking the opportunities it brings. The V&A’s Ocean Cluster programme aims to do just that – by facilitating partnerships between all ocean economy tenants and other stakeholders. To read more about the programme click here.

Footfall update

June is traditionally the quietest month of the year, but the warmer weather did see us benefitting a reasonable number of visitors over the past week – with the outer lying areas indicating positive monthly growth as well. We are now seeing an average daily footfall of 30k visitors.
