19 Mar 2021 V&A Waterfront Easter fun This Easter, we’re inviting visitors to a host of kids and family fun activities. The Easter edition of the V&A Waterfront Kids Market takes place on the 3rd of April, while there’s the chance to win prizes in our virtual Easter egg hunt, a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny and much more. Keep a lookout on our social media channels and website for the full programme which will go live on 22nd of March. Trade continues throughout loadshedding With the return of loadshedding, we ask that you remind your visitors that trading at the main attractions of the V&A Waterfront remains unaffected. V&A Waterfront Record Fair We’re excited to bring back the V&A Record Fair for all the music lovers. The next one takes place next Saturday, 27th of March from 10am behind the Cape Wheel. Makers Landing trading hours The popular food destination – open Friday to Sunday, has revised their trading hours as follows: 7am: Moses Coffee 8am to 5pm: Fuzzy’s Koesisters, Spinach King, Sinshine Food Co, The Bread Bar and The Cheese POD. 11am to 9pm: Indikaap Vegan Ayurveda, Kapoochka, Mosi, Side Wing, Conscious Meat Merchants restaurant, Pitso’s Emazulwini, Pienaar & Son and Ukhamba Beerworx. Footfall update This week, visitor numbers at the Watershed showed strong week on week growth, and together with consistent numbers at the swing bridge, is an indication of office workers returning. On average, there are around 32k people on the property every day. We expected the visitor numbers to remain as is until we see a rise when pay days comes around next week.
