16 Feb 2024 WATERFRONT INTRODUCES RECYCLED OUTDOOR FURNITURE TO THE NEIGHBOURHOOD In December, we introduced our waste-to-wonder furniture collection, which focuses on turning plastic waste into stylish pieces. This was a collaboration with industrial designers, Pedersen + Lennard, aiming to establish a circular economy by upcycling plastic waste from our very own waste facilities. Made from durable sustainable steel and recycled plastics, crafted through eco-friendly processes, these pieces include tables and seating options for visitors to unwind, grab a quick bite, or simply take a moment to enjoy what our neighbourhood has to offer. With a boast seating capacity of 300 people, visitors will get to indulge in open-flame cooked creations, fine wine, cocktails and much more.
