FINE DINING WINS FOR V&A AT LUXE AWARDS

The Waterfront is immensely proud to have three of its tenant restaurants take wins at the 4th annual Luxe Restaurant Awards.

African Restaurant of the Year Award went to Emazulwini. The restaurant was one of the first to debut at Makers Landing when it opened its doors in December 2020. Owner Mmabatho Molefe is a rising star in the culinary industry, and her restaurant specialises in fine dining inspired by her Zulu heritage.

Pier restaurant, which opened its doors at the V&A Waterfront in December, was named the Best New Restaurant of the Year. The restaurant forms part of the La Colombe Group of restaurants, and offers diners an intimate, multi-course fine-dining experience.

The Culinary Icon Award went to TV chef, food author and now restauranteur Siba Mtongana. Not only did Siba boldly open a pop-up restaurant at The Table Bay hotel in the middle of the pandemic, but she now has a permanent restaurant where diners can experience 5-star fine dining with an African flair.

Cashless payment options ease our parking experience

In addition to our card and cash payment options, visitors can now auto-pay for their parking from their vehicles, before exiting the boom, using Eezi pay, Snapscan, or Zapper. The process is a simple scan-and-pay method using any of these apps.
