The Oranjezicht City Farm (OZCF) Market Day is held every Saturday in Granger Bay in the V&A Waterfront, from 9am to 2pm. It is a source of exceptional local produce; food that is fresh, healthy, seasonal and that builds and strengthens local economies. But the Market is more than just a place to buy food and products. It’s a place where people come to connect, to share food and awaken their senses.
A place of experience and discovery where food is talked about by well informed and passionate purveyors eager to tell their story.
Meeting and talking to farmers and food producers is a great opportunity to learn more about how and where our food is grown.
Entrance: There is no fee to enter the market. Pedestrian entrances are open directly from The Granger Bay Parking Garage as well as on Beach Road, and cyclists, joggers and dog walkers are most welcome.
Public transport: The MyCiTi 104 route stops opposite the market on Beach Road and at the main V&A Waterfront stop. The T01 also stops there, as well as on Granger Bay Blvd a 3-minute walk from the market.
Parking: The V&AW’s modular parking at Granger Bay with 574 bays is on the Market’s doorstep and means that you can conveniently park on site. The cost is R10 for 4 hours.
You can also walk to the market and enter through the Beach Road gate.
