Save Our Schools non-profit organisation (SOSNPO) will be launching a 10 week campaign in collaboration with the V&A Waterfront, entitled ‘Wishing Well for Communities’, on UN World Water Day, Tuesday 22 March. Both SOSNPO and V&A Waterfront believe in community upliftment and this upcoming event marks a significant stance on the V&A’s interest in social upliftment activities.
The vision came about as SOS embarked on an initiative in celebration of World Water Day, which raises awareness of the 2.2 billion people worldwide living without access to safe drinking water . As such, the launch of the Wishing Well for Communities invites members of the public to exhibit their generosity and participate in a worthy competition in exchange for the opportunity to win great prizes from the likes of Essence, Swatch, Superdry, Lush and Puma – to name but a few. The event encourages members of the public to locate small wooden wishing wells situated around the Waterfront, whilst educating the public, with a specific focus on youth, on interesting facts about groundwater, the theme for World Water Day 2022.
Drop your entry form at any of one of our partners Bootleggers Aquarium or one at HINT HUNT in Watershed.
