V&A Waterfront Take the Stage series is a platform for emerging South African musicians and musical ensembles to showcase their talents at V&A Waterfront. Experience these emerging artists live for a series of pop-up performances starting November until the end of March 2023 which are free for all to attend.
Up-and-coming singer/songwriter Anica Kiana performs for the first time at the Waterfront amphitheatre, performing your radio favourites such as Narc Boy, Electric, Gotta Leave, First and Your Touch. She brings to the stage a collection of songs that she has released throughout years, ranging from upbeat Pop/ RnB to emotional ballads- she has something for every person.
Her music takes you on a journey of emotions. One moment you may be up on your feet and dancing, and the next, you’re getting lost in the moment of a slow song. Anica has collaborated with many amazing artists over the years such as Nasty C (who features on her single Gotta Leave), Locnville, The Big Hash, Yung Nasa and many more. Accompanying her on stage will be her guitarist Arianna Carini and her drummer Jeane Louw. Together they make the perfect team in arranging a tight set for the audience.
