V&A Waterfront Take the Stage series is a platform for emerging South African musicians and musical ensembles to showcase their talents at V&A Waterfront. Experience these emerging artists live for a series of pop-up performances starting November until the end of March 2023 which are free for all to attend.
Enter the enchanting realm of Thandeka Dladla, a multitalented singer and composer hailing from Johannesburg, South Africa. Born and raised amidst the rich tapestry of her city’s culture, Thandeka’s upbringing nurtured her profound connection to music, sparking a lifelong journey of sonic exploration. With formal training in classical music from the age of 12 and a BMus in Jazz Performance from the University of Cape Town, her talent blossomed.
At the core of her musical prowess lies an ethereal voice that transcends boundaries, resonating deeply within the human soul. From intimate cafes to renowned music venues and festivals, Thandeka’s mesmerizing presence and undeniable talent have garnered a dedicated following.
