V&A Waterfront Take the Stage Series is a platform for emerging South African musicians and musical ensembles to showcase their talents at V&A Waterfront. Experience these emerging artists live for a series of pop-up performances which are free for all to attend.
Thembelihle Dunjana is a 25 year old South African pianist from Gugulethu, Cape Town. Having completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Cape Town, and now currently completing her Masters programme, she has already taught and mentored young music learners within schools in Cape Town, naturally so, having a heart that wants to nurture and guide the minds of young aspiring musicians.
Thembelihle Dunjana can be found leading her own bands around Cape Town and playing for other musicians around Cape Town. Her music is reminiscent of old school South African jazz, with influences of Hard Bop jaz
