V&A Waterfront Take the Stage Series is a platform for emerging South African musicians and musical ensembles to showcase their talents at V&A Waterfront. Experience these emerging artists live for a series of pop-up performances which are free for all to attend.
Sonik Citizen is a lyrical soul-rock trio fresh on the music scene, formed by multi- award winning artist, Mark Fransman. At its core, Sonik Citizen is a “soul-blues” inspired entity, with a strong groove and dynamic live show.
Holding down the groove is bass player, Gino Ackerman and celebrated drummer, Paul Tizzard. Mark Fransman leads from the front with his unique soul- blues inspired voice, incredible guitar skills and all-round musicianship.
