Gerald clark is multi award nominated and accomplished south african musician recognized for his extraordinary voice,songwriting and ability to tell a story with his music. He is one of sa’s top musicians and exports – a singer and songwriter famous for his voice that can get down to the soul and honesty that consists within the blues and it resonates through any genre he attempts.
His second album, black water, gave him international success when the title track’s music video was nominated for an mtveurope animation award. His music has been used on national television as well as being playlisted on the biggest radio stations in south africa.he was also nom- inated for the best solo act in 2016 at one of sa’s biggest art and culture fests, die woordfees.a big moment for gerald because he was up against yvonne chaka chaka, another true sa legend!
He has played on most of the biggest stages, festivals and theatres in south africa, namibia, zambia, swaziland and mozambique and is excited to share his music with europe and beyond.
Gerald has had three successful tours in the czech republic reaching audiences in over 40 different towns.
