The University of the Western Cape (UWC) are aiming to set a South African club record in total hours rowing continuously on an ergo machine.
UWC students are seeking to generate funds for their youth rowing club, which will allow them to participate in training camps, regattas, and acquire necessary equipment.
UWC Rowing Club was established in 2016. The club had started growing rapidly until Covid struck, since then they have been rebuilding the club.
They require funding to help attend training camps – in order to put together a successful boatrace campaign in September.
