Take the Stage Series provide a platform for emerging South African musicians and musical ensembles to showcase their talent, emerging artist for a series of free-to-attend performances at the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre.
JASMINE MINTER REINVENTS HERSELF AS LEMON ZEST
Since 2015, Jasmine Minter has shared the stage with legends such as Prime Circle, Gavin Edwards, Majozi, Brynn’s frontman Jules Terea and many more. She has performed on stages like the Kirstenbosch Summer Concert Stage, the Baxter theatre and Café Roux, and been part of festivals such as the Cape Town Folk n Acoustic Music Festival and the Cape Town International Jazz Festival.
But now it’s 2020! It’s a new year, and she is no longer Jasmine Minter. This year she has teamed up with 222 Artist Agency, and now she is Lemon Zest. Lemon Zest is an alt-pop artist from Cape Town, South Africa. She has just released her debut single, “I Found” as well as an accompanying music video, and her music has been incredibly well-received.
