The 2024 South African Open Freestyle Football Championship is in its 7th Edition bringing together the country’s top football freestylers male and females. Freestyle Football is, put simply, the art of doing tricks with a football. Anyone scratching the surface, however, will soon discover that it is way more: for freestylers today, the discipline is an art form, a sport, and a lifestyle.
With over 15k in prizes this year’s championship promises to be the best, the winner will also be crowned as the South African Freestyle football champion, and get world ranking points.
The qualification will be open for everyone around the country and Southern Africa, freestylers will need to upload their 1 minute qualification videos online and tag South African Freestyle Football Association on Tiktok,Facebook and instagram the top 8 freestylers will be selected and will compete in the live finale at The V&A Waterfront in Cape Town on the 3rd of August 2024. The 2024 Championship is proudly brought to you by SAFFA (South African Freestyle Football Association), HI-TEC, The V&A Waterfront, Aquelle. The event is Sanctioned by the WFFA (World Freestyle Football Association).
