This Mandela Month, SA Harvest is calling on all South Africans to join the #BucketsofNutrition Challenge, an initiative designed to provide essential nutrition to families in need across Joburg, Durban, and Cape Town. This campaign aims to address immediate hunger and provide sustenance that lasts beyond Mandela Day, feeding families for several days.
To join the #BucketsofNutrition Challenge, register on the SA Harvest website, set a target for the number of buckets you aim to pack, and use the downloadable bucket list to purchase the bucket list items. “Through a partnership with Makro, caring corporates and consumers can seamlessly purchase their bucket list items online or in store, and have them delivered conveniently to their door,” says Browde.
Packed buckets can be delivered to participating partner malls and Makro stores – in Joburg at Melrose Arch and Makro Woodmead, in Cape Town at the V&A Waterfront and Makro Montague Gardens, and in Durban at The Pavilion and Makro Springfield. For donations of 50 buckets or more, SA Harvest will collect within a 30km radius of their warehouses.
