Sibz is the epitome of versatility. He is deeply rooted in DJing, events, and radio and is one of the most eclectic DJs on the scene currently, his soundscape ranges from neo-soul to, neo-jazz which then slides into the deeper and soulful side of house music, hip hop and Kwaito.
He was born and raised in the Eastern Cape in a small town known as Alice. In 2006, he moved to Cape Town – a city that made him fall in love with house music and began his career. In 2012 he enrolled to study a Diploma in Sound Technology and Music Production at Cape Audio College, where he met some of the most influential people in his life that introduced him to CD Players and mixing.
After college, he joined a technical production company as a Live Mixing Engineer where his love for music and events grew even more. Since then, he has been involved professionally in major festivals like Search Festival, Africa Burn, Bazique, Organik, Spiltmilk, Jungala and more.
