The ocean is the mainstay of life on earth. Did you know that it produces 50% of the oxygen available on earth, captures 25% of man’s CO2 emissions and regulates the earth’s temperature. This event is organized by the Tara Ocean Foundation, which studies the impact of climate change and pollution on the ocean. For the past 18 years, it has been developing high-level ocean science, in collaboration with excellent international research laboratories The Tara Ocean Foundation is the first foundation of public utility dedicated to the ocean in France. The scientific schooner of the Foundation makes an awareness-raising stop in Cape Town from 22 April to 1 May.
