Join bands not gangs is a non-profit that uses music to help fight gangsterism in the Cape Flats and beyond. Part of our work is to inspire a new generation of kids to become musicians and this is done through our live performances, which include some of the absolute best musicians and singers in Cape Town, including legendary Cape jazz guitarist Allou April, the stellar Shana Ray on vocals and our newly founded Friendship Choir. Come and enjoy an incredible afternoon music performance around the Easter theme by the Join Bands not Gangs Mentors Band and the brilliant Gospel-Vocal style “Friendship Choir”. Our very own Heatherley Court Youth Band (12-15 year olds) will be the opening act. SEE YOU THERE!
