FUJIFILM INSTAX™ Undisputed is an international breaking competition with open categories for Solo Men, Solo Women and Crew battles. With its raw power and creativity this groundbreaking event shines a spotlight on the dynamic world of breaking. The Cape Town edition serves at the last qualifier before the World Final in Tokyo in March 2025, bringing together top b-boys and b-girls from around the globe. Winners of the Solo Women and Solo Men battles will earn a trip to Tokyo to compete in the World Final and represent Africa on the global stage.
Olympic gold medalist and breaking legend Phil Wizard is set to take the Cape Town stage, offering fans and aspiring breakers the chance to see a leading figure in the sport live in action.
The competitions will be judged by an elite international panel, led by Renegade (UK) and Storm (GER), co-creators of the Trivium Judging System – the foundation for judging used at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This advanced digital platform allows judges to score dancers in real-time based on three key criteria: physical, interpretative, and artistic quality. Joining Renegade and Storm are Mark (UG) and South African icons Genetics and b-girl Vee, reflecting South Africa’s significant role in the breaking community. The event promises a unique experience filled with energy, artistry, and athleticism that define the spirit of breaking culture. Registration is open.
