We are the chamber choir of the Domgymnasium from Verden in northern Germany. At the moment we are on a trip through various cites in South Africa. We are very happy that we have been given the opportunity to sing in the V&A Waterfront, Amphitheatre.
The chamber choir of the Domgymnasium Verden is a select choir whose members usually have several years of choir experience and enjoy being challenged and encouraged in a smaller ensemble. The 30 choir members are normally recruited from the school’s main choir and the young chamber choir. Over the last several years, the chamber choir performed together with groups such as Slam Funk, the Saxophone Ensemble, the Sinfonia Piccola, the Jazz DoGs as well as our school’s chamber orchestra.
Our program consists of music from many different genres like classic, pop, and romance – there is certainly something for everyone in it.
