Quay 7 is a unique new multifunctional conferencing and event space located at the end of East Pier in the V&A Waterfront. The original building was constructed in 1924, the double story building you see today is added in the 50’s, the building oozes rustic charm from original features such as hard fired red clay bricks, steel columns, sliding warehouse doors and even the original locomotive tracks.
The sweeping 360-degree exterior view spans the harbour and Victoria Basin, Table Mountain, Granger Bay and Robben Island. The airy 1900sqm interior consists of open-plan floor space which can be reconfigured, making it an idea venue for conferences and events, launches, marketing and film shoots, concerts, parties and much more.
Quay 7 can comfortably accommodate up to 900 people standing.
