8 Nov 2021 The competition starts on Monday 8 November 2021 and closes at 23h00 on Tuesday 30 November 2021. No late entries will be accepted. The game can be played by South Africans residents but only Western Cape residents are eligible to win a prize Competition is open to all ages, where an entrant is under the age of 18, parent/guardian must give permission to enter. The following persons are excluded from this competition and may not participate – o a director, member, partner, employee or agent of, or consultant to V and A Waterfront Holdings (Pty) Ltd (“V&A“) or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by V&A; and o a supplier of goods or services in connection with this competition; and o the spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members of the parties referred to in 1.4.1 and 1.4.2. o V&A’s tenants and their staff. If you have won any V&A Waterfront competition within the last 30 (thirty) calendar days, you may not participate in this competition. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. The winner will be notified by DM on Instagram within 2 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 6 months of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. You agree that your participation in the competition, and your acceptance and/or use of a prize, or any aspect thereof, is at your own risk. The winners will be notified via direct message on Instagram, and the prize will be issued accordingly. o You may not win a prize if it is unlawful for us to supply such a prize to you. If you do win such a prize, you will forfeit it. o You must obtain and possess, at your cost and expense, whatever documents and permissions that may be required in order to accept and use a prize, and which documents and permissions must remain valid in such minimum form and for such minimum period after the prize date as may be required by the relevant authorities. o Unless we make alternative arrangements with the prize winner prior to collection of the prizes, the winner may collect the prizes from Ayanda Vumazonke, by appointment. If you fail to collect your prize timeously you will forfeit your prize. o Proof of identity will be required to collect a prize and we reserve the right to refuse payment or handing over of a prize to any potential winner who refuses to or cannot provide sufficient documentation to verify their identity. o We may require you to provide us with additional information as we may reasonably require in order to process and to facilitate your acceptance and/or use of a prize. HOW TO ENTER The competition will run on the V&A Waterfront’s social media accounts. Members of the public will be encouraged to submit their most picturesque scene around the V&A Waterfront taken using the V&A Artist Alliance stencil filter on the V&A’s Instagram account. The pictures taken by the public will be uploaded onto their social media accounts with the Artist Alliance specific hashtag (#LiveArtBeHeard) allowing the programme to gain traction online. The campaign will run for just over two weeks with reminder graphics being posted on to the V&A’s Instagram account. COMPETITION ROLL OUT The stencil filter will be uploaded to the V&A’s Instagram account. The campaign will be launched on the V&A Waterfront’s social media accounts through graphics that explain how to enter the competition and communicate the prizes. These graphics will be reshared on to Bubblegum’s platforms. Mid way through the campaign another set of graphics will be created to remind people of the prize and application process. This will be reshared on Bubblegum’s Instagram story. The campaign will end with a final selection being announced at a set time on the V&A Waterfront’s social media accounts. The winner will be selected by the Bubblegum Club Internal team ADDITIONAL T&Cs All submissions must be original images taken by the applicant. Submissions must be taken using The Artist Alliance stencil filter. All images submitted by the applicants must be taken in the vicinity of The V&A Waterfront. Following submissions being posted on to social media The V&A Waterfront has the right to repost the image onto their social media accounts. Late submissions will not be considered. Applicants are permitted to submit multiple times. Income and other taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
