29 September 2018

Share the Power on World Heart Day: South Africa Lights Up! World Heart Day takes place every year on 29 September. We mark this day in SA too. Created and led by the World Heart Federation, the day is designed to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease (CVD), the world’s biggest killer, and of the importance of living a heart-healthy lifestyle. In SA, CVD is the second biggest killer following HIV and AIDS.

Join us for an interactive and informative event to raise awareness about heart disease during Heart Awareness Month and World Heart Day. The event will include participation by our mascot Hearty; and an energetic jump rope routine from members of the SA Jump Rope Federation. Prize giveaways and so much more.
