For over a century, Doane choral ensembles have inspired audiences worldwide with both sacred and secular repertoire. Their annual national tours span the United States—from Minneapolis and Dallas to Los Angeles and New York City—and include a performance at Washington, D.C.’s National Cathedral. Internationally, they’ve sung in 15 countries—Brazil, Costa Rica, Estonia, Germany, Italy, Poland, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, and more. On their 2018 South Africa tour, they performed alongside the Soweto Gospel Choir in Cape Town and Johannesburg and will return in May of 2025. European highlights include St. Mark’s Cathedral in Venice and the Thomaskirche in Leipzig.

Doane Choir frequently joins local orchestras for choral-orchestral masterworks such as Orff’s Carmina Burana, Britten’s War Requiem, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Runestad’s Dreams of the Fallen and A Silence Haunts Me, and Brahms’ A German Requiem. They’ve appeared at the Nebraska State Music Convention and an ACDA regional conference, collaborating with renowned conductors and artists including Simon Carrington, Joseph Jennings, Craig Hella Johnson, Kyle Ketelsen, Weston Noble, Alice Parker, Eric Whitacre, and Sir David Willcocks (and his son Jonathan).
