For the first time in the over 100-year history of the International Astronomical Union (IAU), its General Assembly, the “World Cup” of astronomy, will take place on the African continent. Cape Town will become the international capital of astronomy as thousands of participants from across the world gather for the XXXII General Assembly of the IAU being held from the 6th to the 15th of
August 2024. Join us to celebrate this historic moment on Saturday the 10th of August, where we will have stargazing activities, interactive talks, and even a planetarium.
