At the American International School of Cape Town (AISCT) we believe in the power of the performing arts, and especially in musical expression. In our High School community our preferred method of musical expression is the African marimba.
From only six High School marimba students in 2015 our single marimba band has grown to nearly sixty students currently in our sought-after High School marimba program. Come join us for a memorable marimba lunch hour show at the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre on Thursday 3 April at 12pm, as we celebrate our students’ eight month’s preparation with original, fabulous marimba arrangements by Mr Bezuidenhout, our marimba maestro.
Our three High School bands will perform songs from the likes of Madonna, Vivaldi, Maroon 5, Zakes Bantwini, Black Eyed Peas and Omah Lay. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
Entrance is free.
