The New Dawn, a 10m Catamaran harbour ferry, has undergone a complete refit. It offers visitors a unique view of the historic Old Harbour area of the V&A Waterfront, as well as cruises into the International Harbour area. It now has a clear perspex roof, supported by a stainless steel frame, and this means the vessel can get really close up under the bows and sterns of the vessels in the Old Harbour, as well as closer than before, but still at a safe distance, from the enormous Cape Fur Seals, lying on the fenders around tehe harbour. It can take 44 passengers, and the harbour trip and the seal viewing takes half an hour to an hour.
