With hundreds of nominations, were excited to share the five most-nominated in each category and the finalists for the 2025 People’s Choice Award. This award is a true celebration of our neighbourhood’s most loved destinations – decided not by a panel of judges, but our visitors. As part of our ongoing commitment to nurturing young creatives in Cape Town, we’ve launched the Creative Allies Podcast – a space for bold conversations with the voices shaping Africa’s creative future. Hosted by Lerato Sokhulu, a celebrated performer and theatre-maker known for her work in contemporary South African theatre, and Carol Joy Williams, an acclaimed poet, writer, and creative mentor. Showcasing the country’s top squash players competing for national titles across divisions ranging from U15 to Open Division for both females and males.
