Once the tallest building in Cape Town, the Grain Silo’s dramatic height and silhouette set it apart from everything else within the V&A Waterfront. The historic Silo was redeveloped by the V&A Waterfront at a cost of R500 million to house the remarkable Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (MOCAA). It occupies nine floors over 9 500 square metres, of which 6000 square metres is exhibition space.
