Poetry was founded by a small group of people who share a real love for making things that inspire the imagination. They carefully source, design and select products from across the world: they share a passion for detail, for old-world craftsmanship and a desire to deliver a personal experience rather than just a fleeting novelty to their customers. On offer are beautiful clothing, footwear, accessories, bath and body products, confectionery and homewares. Poetry is a destination for sophisticated women who long for clothes that aren’t found on the shelves of stores everywhere. The store’s atmosphere can best be described as ‘country chic’. Some of the store’s merchandise comes from exotic destinations such as India and Morocco, although local design and craftsmanship are also important elements in this truly South African store concept.
