The Barksole booth opened its doors on the same day as the Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre, and has been trading ever since. Established in 1957, Barksole specialises in shoe/bag repairs, key cutting, engraving, luggage and leather repairs, dry cleaning, knife sharpening, ID photos and rentals of DIY carpet-cleaning machines. Products include trophies, medals, security products, shoe care and remote controls. Other services offered are the making of rubber stamps, name tags, number plates and related products.
