V&A WATERFRONT MINI EXPLORER SUMMER CAMPAIGN COMPETITION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. GENERAL ENTRY CONDITIONS
1.1. The competition starts at 08h00 on 1 December 2025 and closes at 23h59 on 11 January 2026. No late entries will be accepted.
1.2. The competition is open to South African residents only.
1.3. Entrants must be 18 years or older at the time of entry. Entries must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of a participating child (“Mini Explorer”).
1.4. The following persons are excluded from participation:
1.4.1. Any director, member, partner, employee, or agent of, or consultant to V&A Waterfront Holdings (Pty) Ltd (“V&A”) or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by V&A;
1.4.2. A supplier of goods or services in connection with this competition; and
1.4.3. The spouses, life partners, business partners, or immediate family members of the parties referred to in 1.4.1 and 1.4.2.
1.5. V&A tenants and their staff are excluded from entry.
1.6. Entrants who have won any V&A Waterfront competition within the last 30 (thirty) days are not eligible to win.

2. HOW TO ENTER
2.1. Entry is exclusive to the parents of Mini Explorer Passport holders.
2.2. To enter, parents or guardians must complete the official Mini Explorer Summer Competition entry form, providing:
– Full name of parent or guardian
– Full name of child
– Mini Explorer Passport number (found on the inside of the last page)
– Valid email address
– Mobile number
2.3. Entries must be submitted via the link provided in the V&A Waterfront social media bio during the campaign period.
2.4. Each passport number counts as one valid entry. Duplicate entries will not be accepted.

3. PRIZE DETAILS AND WINNER SELECTION
3.1. Four (4) winners will each receive a Mini Explorer Summer Adventure Prize Pack, which includes:
– 1x Annual Kids Membership to the Two Oceans Aquarium + 4x Kids Day Tickets to the Two Oceans Aquarium
– 1x R250 Yokico Voucher
– 2x adult and 2x kids tickets to the Cape Wheel
– 1x R500 Toy Kingdom Voucher
– 1x R500 Game4U voucher
– 1x Waterfront Duck Cap + 1x Waterfront Duck Child Ticket
3.2. Winners will be randomly selected on 16 January 2026 and contacted by a V&A representative by 31 January 2026.
3.3. Winners must collect their prizes at the V&A Waterfront Information Kiosk by 15 February 2026.
3.4. If a winner cannot be reached within 3 (three) days of the initial contact attempt, V&A reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
3.5. The prize is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may not be sold.

4. GENERAL RULES AND INFORMATION
4.1. A copy of these terms and conditions is available on the V&A Waterfront website: www.waterfront.co.za.
4.2. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or causes beyond reasonable control, V&A reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the competition and/or its rules. Any updates will be published on www.waterfront.co.za.
4.3. The selection of winners is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
4.4. Taxes, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of the winners.
4.5. Entrants may not submit any entry that infringes third-party rights or violates any applicable laws.
4.6. Personal information collected (name, contact details, passport number) will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and contacting winners, in compliance with POPIA.
4.7. All entries become the property of V&A and will not be returned.
4.8. Neither V&A nor its directors, employees, agents, or representatives shall be liable for any loss or damage arising from participation, except where caused by negligence or willful misconduct.
4.9. Winners may be required to provide proof of identity and valid contact details to claim their prize.
4.10. By entering, participants (and their guardians) consent to the use of their names and photos for competition-related publicity, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
4.11. If a winner fails to claim their prize by 15 February 2026, the prize will be forfeited.
