Hotels at the V&A Waterfront offer a unique experience inside a neighbourhood that has been alive for over 160 years.
From intimate boutique properties to five-star resorts, every hotel here sits within a working harbour, a creative economy, and a community where there’s always a reason to stay a little longer.
Wake up to the harbour and enjoy your favourite coffee spot as you experience the convenience of having everything within walking distance.
Living at the V&A Waterfront means living inside one of the most connected neighbourhoods in Africa, with everything that comes with it: security, convenience and a view that never gets old.
At the V&A Waterfront, people come together to work, visit, create and belong. More than a destination, it's a neighbourhood of opportunity, supporting 30,000 direct jobs and contributing R45.9 billion to the economy.
A new stretch of Cape Town’s Atlantic coastline is being opened up to the city. Over the next 15 to 20 years, this R20 billion-plus development will bring new homes, hotels, jobs, public space and a protected bay for swimming, kayaking and boating. A 540-metre seawall will help protect the coastline, while a new coastal walkway will connect the V&A directly to the Sea Point promenade.

Meet Our New Makers
We’re excited to announce two new talents joining our Makers Landing family: Ooh Fudge Dessert Bar and Charm’s Kitchen. You’re going to love what they’re serving!
Ooh Fudge, founded by Zulfa Cassiem, was one of Makers Landing’s first incubator enterprises. The business has been running for five years, producing a range of decadently creative, Halaal-certified, chocolate-based fudge flavours. The Ooh Fudge Dessert Bar at Makers Landing debuts Zulfa’s delicious desserts, including waffles, sundaes and fudge brownies.
Charm’s Kitchen is Charmaine Govender-Koen’s way of celebrating Durban’s rich Indian culinary heritage, which she grew up with. Her moreish menu of fresh and frozen home-cooked meals shows off her contemporary twist on spicy flavours, with a dishes that will change according to the season.
We’d love to hear from you.
Whether you’re exploring a new career with us, interested in becoming a tenant or business partner, or just have a question, we’re here to help.
