Open every day of the year, the Two Oceans Aquarium takes you beneath the surface of the two oceans that meet at the Cape. Sharks, jellyfish, Knysna seahorses, penguins and a kelp forest all under one roof.
The Cape sits at the meeting point of the Indian and Atlantic Ocean, and the Two Oceans Aquarium makes that fact visible.
Open 365 days a year, the aquarium offers an immersive look at marine life through enormous tanks, underwater tunnels and vast viewing windows. Sharks, stingrays, jellyfish, eels, the rare Knysna seahorse, penguins and a dazzling variety of Indian Ocean fish all share the same building.
The kelp forest exhibit is unlike anything else in the country. The predator tank is hypnotic. The Touch Pool lets younger visitors get hands-on with creatures from the deep, and regular feeding times offer the chance to watch the aquarium’s team at work.
An ideal all-weather destination for families, first-time visitors and seasoned aquarium-goers alike. No two visits are quite the same.
