Major events may bring temporary changes to traffic routes across the city, including parts of the V&A Waterfront and surrounding areas.

We recommend planning your journey in advance by reviewing the latest road closures and access routes for your event.

Getting Around

To make your travel as smooth as possible, there are a number of convenient transport options available:

E-hailing and MyCiTi Bus Services

• MyCiTi Bus: Services operate according to the regular schedule. Please check www.myciti.org.za for any last-minute updates.

• Uber and e-hailing: Use the designated e-hailing zones across the neighbourhood for all drop-offs and pick-ups.

After a day at the V&A Waterfront, we’d like to ensure you get home comfortably and safely after celebrating with us.

Parking at the V&A Waterfront

If you’re planning to park at the V&A Waterfront, we encourage you to make use of our Clock Tower Parking Garage, Silo Parking Garage and Battery Park Parking Garage for the most convenient access on event days.

Both garages offer:

• Easy entry and exit routes

• A comfortable ±1.5km walk to Cape Town Stadium

• Competitive parking rates

Please note that Breakwater, Victoria Wharf, Ulundi, and Portswood parking areas are often in high demand by retail visitors.
