Discover Granger Bay

A new stretch of Cape Town’s Atlantic coastline is being opened up to the city. Over the next 15 to 20 years, this R20 billion-plus development will bring new homes, hotels, jobs, public space and a protected bay for swimming, kayaking and boating. A 540-metre seawall will help protect the coastline, while a new coastal walkway will connect the V&A directly to the Sea Point promenade.

Something Good Studio is a collaborative textile design studio. We represent a harmonious tapestry of culture, art and style. In community, we use art and design to make a positive impact through our philosophy of ‘weaving forward together’.

Something Good Studio is a Johannesburg-based textile design studio and home to sister brands Something Good Homeware and Romaria Knitwear. Rooted in collaboration, culture, and community, we create thoughtfully designed textiles that reflect a shared philosophy of “weaving forward together.”

Our small-scale pieces are made in South Africa using natural fibres and timeless techniques, focusing on quality over trends. Collaborating with artists and designers, we blend local talent with a European appreciation for lasting beauty. The studio is co-led by Zydia Botes (South Africa) and Carla Pinto (Portugal).
