Discover Granger Bay

A new stretch of Cape Town’s Atlantic coastline is being opened up to the city. Over the next 15 to 20 years, this R20 billion-plus development will bring new homes, hotels, jobs, public space and a protected bay for swimming, kayaking and boating. A 540-metre seawall will help protect the coastline, while a new coastal walkway will connect the V&A directly to the Sea Point promenade.

SILVAN is a Cape Town–based brand founded in 2018, inspired by nature and rooted in a love for botanical design. Working mainly with local makers, it celebrates South Africa’s rich plant life—especially fynbos and proteas—across prints, cards, textiles, and accessories.

The range also includes lightweight bamboo/cotton knitwear suited to the local climate. Committed to quality and local production, SILVAN continues to grow while supporting Cape Town–based businesses and showcasing the creativity of its community.
