Some encounters with Africa stay with you long after you have gone home. Rabinowitz Photography exists for those moments. Founded in Cape Town by conservation photographer Adam Rabinowitz and Brigid Prinsloo, we produce limited edition fine art wildlife photography - iconic images of Africa's wildlife and wild places, collected globally. Every artwork begins in the field: weeks of patience in Etosha, Mana Pools, the Bazaruto Archipelago, the Kruger. What Adam brings home is not simply a record of what he saw, but of what it felt like to be there - the stillness before a lion turns, the hush of a desert at first light, the shimmer of life beneath quiet waters. Each photograph is then made to museum-grade standards in our Cape Town studio, on Hahnemühle archival paper, in editions of 180 - after "chai", the Hebrew word for life. Every piece is signed, numbered and certified by our own team, ready to travel anywhere in the world. Our Watershed gallery is where the work is best experienced. Voted Best Customer Experience at the V&A Waterfront in 2024, it is a space to slow down: to stand in front of a leopard's gaze or an aerial of Bazaruto, and to hear the story behind the image from people who know it well. Conservation is not decoration for us. Adam's mission is to capture images that inspire awe in and connect people to our wild places, so that together we can protect this great gift for future generations. For the love of Africa.
