Buskers have been part of this neighbourhood for over 30 years. Mime artists, musicians, poets, soccer freestylers, dancers; they’re what bring the precincts to life. If you have something worth performing, this is the place to do it.
Busk and grow
The V&A Waterfront's Busker Training Development Programme runs annually, opening in March. Selected performers work across classes and workshops over two months, developing their craft and building the skills that turn a performance into a career.
Places are limited. Applications open once a year.

Meet our mentors
As part of the development program, you'll engage with our talented mentors through monthly onsite coaching workshops.
These sessions are to help buskers master self-management, covering business planning, financial best practices, and social media etiquette.
