A 540-metre seawall will help protect the coastline, while a new coastal walkway will connect the V&A directly to the Sea Point promenade.

Award-winning chef, Ryan Cole.
Chef Ryan Cole will be firing things up in our neighbourhood with the opening of his second restaurant, COY. Situated on the water’s edge with Table Mountain as a backdrop, COY offers guests a relaxed take on fine dining through a unique expression of southern African cuisine.

Joining chef Ryan, will be head chefs Teenola Govender and Geoffrey Abrahams
Staying true to Chef Ryan’s culinary ethos, there will be a strong focus on sustainable, ethical, seasonal, and local sourcing of ingredients. The menu is expected to feature plenty of ferments, age-old ingredients, and rediscovered African cooking techniques. While seafood will dominate the menu, there will also be a fair share of ethically sourced meat dishes.

BMX Day is a celebration of BMX culture, riders, and the sport itself. Typically held on July 20th, it features various activities such as BMX demonstrations, meet and greets with top riders, and other community events. The day is marked by gatherings of BMX enthusiasts around the world who participate in street rides, park sessions, and other BMX-related festivities.
